About the event

About the workshop:

Through the esoteric understanding of the body and healing sounds, awareness of the body is initiated and the mind relaxes deeply. This workshop is designed to improve the flexibility, strength, balance & movement range of the body including the knees along with releasing the accumulated body stress. To anyone who wants to improve their health & fitness can include this as a daily practice. Take away from the workshop: one can practice these simple movements daily to become more flexible and feel lighter.

About the facilitator:

Augustine is a multidisciplinary Artist who uses the Therapeutic side of Art and Movements (including yoga) to connect with and heal people. He has exhibited his art in various cities, has given workshops on a wide range of Art forms, and has students around the world. He is an avid Trekker and likes all new challenges he faces on every trek especially 'The Himalayas'. His fascination with the workings of the mind led him to pursue his study in psychotherapy after graduating in fine arts. He furthered his studies in Yoga and other Alternative therapies (Varma, Touch Therapy) to understand man in a holistic manner, which helped him to work with the uniqueness and individual differences in people, and also enabled him to work with children with special needs. His learning includes painting from Rudolf Steiner Painting School, Dornach, Switzerland. Furthermore, he is pursuing his final year study in "Eurythmy", a therapeutic movement-based art form.
