Innishari invites you to a unique classical concert with captivating interludes aimed at deepening our listening journey. This will be followed by an intimate conversation with the performers, for a glimpse into the inner workings of the practice of this art and the performance dynamics.

About Mandar:

A student of Indian Khayal Music, Mandar has been fortunate to learn from late Pt. Purushottam Kaslikar and late Pt. Vijay Sardeshmukh. He continues his taleem under Pt. Vivek Joshi and draws from the rich traditions of Kirana, Gwalior and Agra Gharana along with the artistic approach of Pt. Kumar Gandharva creating an unusual and unique blend.

Mandar started the Baithak Foundation in 2016, as a manifestation of his faith in the power of music as a tool for human development. He also became a published author with four books to his credit.

Mandar performs Hindustani Classical/Khayal Music along with specially curated presentations of his self-composed works of saint and mystic poetry. Mandar is a deep thinker and orator which reflects in his thoughtful curation of each performance. His sonorous voice and charismatic musical construction enables his audience to access deep states of reflection and silence.
