About the event
Mehfil-e-Pune is a vibrant community of Singers (Taansens) and listeners (Kaansens) in equal numbers. This group was formed by ex-BARC scientist and BITS Pilani alumnus, Mr Atul Mishra with a group of like minded alumnii. In no time, this group expanded to include all music lovers and has literally become a movement!
Innishari is privileged to host these quarterly mehfils at the studio. The uniqueness of these Mehfils is that the songs sung need to be all recorded before 1985. The energy is always at the peak and each time we discover emerging talent and older than old golden gems of yesteryears!
